In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Gradually add water until you form a thick and homogeneous batter.
Pour oil into a deep pan or fryer and heat to medium-high temperature (approximately 170°C).
Using two spoons or a special spoon, form small balls of batter and carefully drop into the hot oil.
Fry for 3-4 minutes until they are golden and crispy. Turn occasionally for even cooking.
Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels. Serve hot, plain or with hot sauce.
