Season the beef with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the meat until browned and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
If not already prepared, cook the white rice in a pot with water and salt until tender.
In a small pot, heat the cooked black beans with a little water. You can mash them slightly if desired.
Slice the ripe plantains and fry them in hot oil until golden and crispy on both sides.
Chop the lettuce and fresh tomato. Dress with lime juice, salt and pepper to taste.
On a large plate, distribute the rice, beans, meat, fried plantains and fresh salad in portions. Enjoy!
